Ouray operators are responsible for meeting daily and weekly screen print production goals and making awesome sportswear! Pay commensurate with experience.

 

2 Schedules available:

 

Mon-Fri 5AM-1:30PM

Mon-Thurs 1:30PM-12AM

 

Wage: Depending on experience

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Automatic Screen Print Press including MHM Synchroprint S-Type and/or MHM X-Treme.

• Properly fill out the efficiency tracking sheet.

• Properly scan all orders in the route tracking template.

• Look up the Art Approval image for all orders they work on.

• Check the work order and confirm that the garment style and colors are correct.

• Check the work order and confirm that the screens have the correct design and that they are inked with the correct ink.

• Properly use all functions on the press computer screen.

• Properly adjust the squeegee speed, pressure, and angle on the print heads as well as off contact when needed.

• Have an average efficiency of 75%-85% for Novice Printer, 85%-95% percent for Certified Printer, and 95%- 100% for Expert Printer.

• Have an average scrap rate of 2% or lower for Novice, 1.5% or lower for Certified, and 1% or lower for Expert.

• Keep work area clean and free of obstacles and debris.

• Load all types of garments properly for requested locations for Certified and Expert Printers.

 

Other Duties:

• Expert Printers must be able to train Printer Assistants and Novice Printers.

• Operate Manual Screen Print Press as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required (unless otherwise noted):

• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal or written).

• Strong organizational skills.

• Working conditions are normal for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand at screen print workstation for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, frequently. Proper lifting techniques required.

• Mid-level stress.

• Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed.

• Requires walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day.

• Requires reaching continually throughout the workday (screen print machines).

 

Material and Equipment Directly Used:

• Automated and manual screen print machines and related equipment.

• Personal computer with Microsoft Office software applications.

• Software applications including Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Experience:

• Screen Printing: 1 year (Preferred)
